Rolling Rampage - Arcade Game

Art – director, 3D Game Developer and Game Designer

Rolling Rampage
Rolling Rampage: Survival of the Fattest is an arcade game which was created as part of my second semester project, during my Bachelor of Science in Medialogy. Our focus lied within Social anxiety and how to make people make acquaintances through a multiplayer arcade table. We created two game modes which where cooperation and competition and it was possible to play with up to four players.
The arcade game allows you to choose between 12 different ball shaped animals in two different game modes: cooperation and competition.

My role in the project was a concept artist, making 2D concept art of the characters, and later create them as fully textured 3D models. During both the 2D concept development and the texturing phase, I based the colours on a triad colour scheme.
The game was developed for use at the Roskilde Festival 2013, where the arcade table was exhibited at a coffee shop, with a secondary use as a coffee table.
